Aug 4 :  Superintendent of police B.Shivadhar reddy said the Crime Stopper received 43 complaints, of  which action was taken in 34 cases and five cases were recognised as IPC cases. on information given by the crime stopper , the J.R.Puram police arrested a Tata Sumo driver k.ramalingeswara rao, who was responsible  for the death of a person in an accident. In another incident, the police rushed to Timmanaidupeta, where a lorry overturned killing the driver and two passengers on the spot. The injured  lorry cleaner was admitted to hospital . In another accident , one person lost his life and another got  grievously injured  when a lorry overturned at Judur junction. sannapet SI Investigating the case,  the SP said .

Sep 14:   Superintendent of police B.Shivadhar reddy  on Friday said that Complaints from the public would also be accepted through email. in a statement , he said the email address is   spsrikakulam@rediffmail.com  He said the police department has taken several measures for protecting law and order. He said complaints would be accepted at the reception counters, Central Complaint Cell, family counseling  centres and crime-stopper. He said several sign boards  were set up at all  over the district indicating email address. The SP said so far 48 complaints were received through e-mail and action was taken on 15 genuine complains

Sep 18: Superintendent of police B.Shivadhar reddy  on tuesday  said that 294 cases have been settled amicably without registering any cases of 647 cases received in last 15 days through various reception counters. cases were registered in remaining 67 cases, he also said that Four of six cases registered in the police station  centres in the last 15 days were solved peacefully without being registered.

Sep 18:   Etcherla (Srikakulam) A Novel training has been planned for the 120 Personal security men in the district in batches at  AR Parade grounds   here.  Abatch of 40 security men would be made run for 3.5 km carrying a weight of 5.5 kg for improving their physique. The security men would be appointed for the personal safety of VIP's. They would also be trained in the use of fire arms and the use of bayonet.

Sep 18:  Superintendent  of  Police B.Shivadhar Reddy on tuesday said that monthly house journal suraksha would be supplied to maithri sanghams which are directly involved in the functioning of the police department. He said Suraksha is the largest circulated house journal in the country and supplying it to members of the sanghams would improve the Police-Public relations. Moreover, it was proposed to supply the journal to panchayats and all the liabaries in the state .He said the maithri sanghams should compulsory  read the journal as it enhances the prestige of the police department.
